A special choir will be formed for the day, with members of The Barnes Choir and guests. Julian Collings, our musical director, will be working intensively with us on the music, and will provide performance insights.

We are an amateur choir of around 65 voices who have been part of the music scene in Barnes and Sheen for many years. Three times a year we have a formal concert and we also take part in a number of local musical events. We perform with professional singers and orchestras and a regular feature of our programmes are works by young composers, such as Russell Hepplewhite, and local composers such as Howard Goodall. We are regular performers at the Barnes Music Festival and support local charities including the Holly Lodge Centre and the Mulberry Centre by carol singing.
